30/70 saw its genesis rooted in a culture of collaboration and improvisation. A musical agreement made in raw fearlessness, forever inspiring one another in their search for creative expansion. Dedicated to truth through sound and the beauty of endless motion, 30/70 are crafting sonic constellations, connecting dots, thoughts and culture across the world with their music.

Over the years, 30/70 has become something of a supergroup: with Allysha Joy, Ziggy Zeitgeist, Josh Kelly, Finn Rees and Matthew Hayes all soaring as solo artists and band leaders in their own right, yet as each member of the band effortlessly controls their own sound and the connectivity between them, they are united as one; the synergy palpable in this tour-de force.

The local heat of their first release Cold Radish Coma was undeniable. It opened the relationship to Rhythm Section International, who released their critically acclaimed sophomore LP Elevate followed by Fluid Motion and recent heavy hitter single Tastes Like Freedom. 30/70’s fourth studio album, ART MAKE LOVE is their most recent exploration with Energy Exchange Records. It is a statement about the very life giving, love fuelling, interconnected nature of creativity, a reclamation of art in a digital time.

“This group are very much the future of what’s going on in Melbourne in many ways!” Gilles Peterson, BBC
