47 Roman

Recording artist, 47 Roman was raised in Paterson, NJ and moved to North Carolina during junior high. His time in New Jersey exposed him to the New York sound with the likes of JAY-Z, Nas, Fabolous, and Jadakiss. But his years in North Carolina led him to gravitate toward North Carolina natives, J. Cole and Rapsody. Enticed by soulful samples and soothing beats, 47 Roman keeps his bars witty and his story open.

Born Na’zir Sims from Paterson, New Jersey. He tailored much of his sound after his favorite artists such as J. Cole, Drake, Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean, and Kendrick Lamar. Paying ode to them in much of his bars. He was exposed to music and poetry at a young age, participating in poetry slams, rap battles, and artist showcases which created his foundation for recording music of his own. He started filling up notebooks and perfecting his flow and delivery with every released project. 47 Roman has the pen and delivery to captivate an audience and the ear for music to garner the attention of those who listen for the beat. Still on the rise, he has much to prove and more of a story to tell.
