4BOUT is a Korean singer-songwriter based in New York and Seoul. Since 2019, he has explored the dual themes of self-love and loneliness through his music. "I always say my music is ‘cry together music’," 4BOUT shared in a 2023 interview. "It’s okay to feel too much. That’s what my music is for."
His journey as a musician unfolded gradually. He began writing and recording in New York City, leading to the release of his debut EP, Miserable (2020), which resonated deeply with a dedicated fanbase. His work is both ambitious and immersive, spanning projects like the double album Fortunate Islands, the conceptual trilogy ANGER, EROS, and CHILDHOOD, as well as the collaborative EP [OMNIBUS]. In 2024, he released [Star Crossed Lovers], an EP exploring the sorrowful stories of doomed relationships.
Beyond his own artistry, 4BOUT is an established composer and music director, contributing to large-scale productions, including major K-Dramas and top-tier idol projects. His ability to craft emotionally resonant music has led him to work on projects with a reach extending to global platforms.
