Contemporary R&B vocal group 4EY the Future was formed by Russell Webster. The 4EY Music Group CEO selected Michael Timmons (Kenny Iko), Demetrius Harris (Mechie So Crazy), and Tre Anthony Garrison, who built a following in 2015 with the swaggering, Zaytoven-produced slow jam "Scoot Ova." At the time, all three members were in their late teens. Garrison was eventually replaced by Leo Amari who, like friend Timmons, had a background in the Washington, D.C. go-go scene. Signed to eOne, the trio continued to increase their exposure with performances showcasing their vocal skills and choreographed routines. They plotted their debut album, led by "No Time to Waste," a single issued in May 2016. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
