Hailing from the Helsinki metropolitan area, 89DEADLINE crafts modern melodic rock with a Scandinavian touch, where melancholy meets an arena-sized soundscape filled with catchy choruses and powerful riffs.
The band's mission is to bring guitar-driven rock music back to the mainstream. Formed in December 2024, the band made its official debut already during the spring of 2025.
At the heart of 89DEADLINE are infectious songs with lyrics that explore life in all its diversity, unafraid to tackle a wide range of themes. Their inspiration draws from both 80s legends and today’s rock giants . Yet, the band maintains a sound that is distinctly their own – a blend of sensitivity and strength.
Whether on stage or in the studio, 89DEADLINE invites their listeners into a world of big emotions. Their debut single “Phoenix Rising” will see the light of day in May.
