A DOT IN THE SKY is an Indian Ambient-post-rock band hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal,
India. The band was formed in summer of 2016.
A dot in the sky is a formation with its inbound ability of making experiments on ambient
music, depending on the principle of the genre band strongly believes in its own definition
of creating music. All songs are in Hindi, Bengali and English language.
We are also dealing with multi genre and our setlist includes a diverse range of songs for
our live performances, encompassing Bollywood covers, English covers, folk songs, and
our original compositions. We are performing in various College events, Festival and
private events.
Band members are Richa Chandra (Vocal) , Sudipto Paul (Composer /
Keyboardist / Song writer) , Pradyumna Laskar (Bass Guitarist) , Sourav Das (Drummer)
and Shounak Dasgupta (Guitarist/Song writer).
