“Music and sound are predominant healing elements in my life,” says a l l i e of her guiding principles and what is embodied in her latest offering Tabula Rasa.
An amalgamation of her collective experiences, two years worth of material, a trip across Europe and a cathartic homecoming to Jamaica, Tabula Rasa materializes her desire to translate music’s healing properties through art. The 11-track album was guided by an intuitive and organic process where she flexed her musical breadth taking on the role of executive producer. For a l l i e, the creation of her album allowed for introspection too. Tapping into the musical sensibilities cultivated and nurtured throughout her childhood, a l l i e used this project as a means to connect to her ancestral roots.
