A-Sides Club is an indie supergroup boasting members of Boy and Bear, All Our Exes Live In Texas, Hot Spoke and The Whitlams.
A-Sides Club reinterpret hand-picked selections of enduring classics, rendered in a mesmeric mix of acoustica and indie folk.
Vocal duties are shared between Katie Wighton (All Our Exes) and Ness Quinn (Hot Spoke) who deliver a haunting and intoxicating take on the originals.
A-Sides Club is rounded out by David Symes (Bass, Boy and Bear), Jak Housden (Guitar, The Whitlams), Stuart Hunter (Keys, Passenger) and Evan Mannell (Drums).
Their first release is a treatment of Creedence Clearwater Revival classics, recorded during a three week period at Forbes St Studios, Sydney in mid 2017 - amounting in a beautifully cohesive set of recordings boasting innovative arrangements and cinematic delivery. The album was produced by David Symes and mixed by Wayne Connolly.
A second album - a similar treatment of Guns N Roses classics with the full band and production lineup of the first, was released in July 2018.
A third album, a treatment of Queen classics featuring the sublime chemistry of the preceding albums was issued in November 2018.
