Whether he is performing at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Café or during the NATO headquarters Christmas party in Brussels, Aaron Jaxon is an authentic Southern Americana songwriter and guitar virtuoso. The East Texas native, now living in Johnson City, Tennessee packs a blend of rock and roll, blues, country and Americana that one reviewer referred to as "magical.”
2021 saw the release of Jaxon’s first full length album “Saints Communion.” The album received rave reviews from independent music critics with Mark Druery of IndieShark Music Magazine calling it “the sound of a survivor essaying heartfelt rock n roll.” Druery also added, “Jaxon’s lyrics are rife with near-Biblical imagery without any heavy-handed overtones and have a degree of playfulness.” Others also took note of Jaxon’s considerable lyric writing talents. “Images restlessly bubble to the surface of each song and Jaxon belts out the lines with the desperation of a street corner preacher” said Mindy McCall of IndiePulse Music.
Saints Communion was recorded at The Sound Asylum Recording Studio in Boone’s Creek TN and was co-produced by Aaron and Alex Ryan.
When he isn’t working on new music, Aaron volunteers some of his free time to helping recovering alcoholics taking part in twelve-step programs. Aaron loves to travel, having visited locations like New York City, Tokyo, Glasgow and Paris. He is also an avid viewer of television shows like Billions, Yellowstone, and Ozark.
