Rob has been part of the vibrant bluegrass community in Austin, TX since the early 2000s. His first album of original instrumental tunes, Helium Taxi, was released in 2012 and featured members of MilkDrive and Wood & Wire. In 2022, he released the single Rose's Crossing, showcasing musicians Jake Eddy (Becky Buller Band), Andy Hall (The Infamous Stringdusters), Michael Prewitt (Special Consensus), and Dennis Ludiker (Asleep at the Wheel, MilkDrive) and Josh Flowers.
