Beginning her career with the "I Feel You" single in 1992, Abigail has had a steady output of dance music since. Although that was her first single, it was not until "Could It Be Magic" debuted at number one on Britain's NRG charts that she first tasted success. She began releasing dance covers of popular songs, putting out techno renditions of "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Constant Craving," and "Losing My Religion" throughout the first half of the decade. These were all collected with several originals on Feel Good, her 1995 debut album. A remix EP followed, and she spent time touring the dance circuit and releasing a single on Pulse-8 Records. That label folded soon after, so she took time off to have her first child, Ilana. She hooked up with Thunderpuss 2000 for a collaboration, resulting in the "Let the Joy Rise" single that became an enormous club hit in 1999. She backed this up with another popular club anthem written with Thunderpuss 2000, "If It Don't Fit," and yet another the following year with "You Set Me Free." All three songs reinvented her as a-club friendly diva, an image she embraced openly after years of trying for success in the genre. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
