Able Cain formed in 1991 in Northern California when Greg Asher (vocals, harmonica) and Matt McCabe (guitar) decided to form a contemporary Christian alternative rock band. Influenced by groups such as the Police, the Fixx, and King Crimson, the band expanded to five members with the addition of Eric Schrepel (keyboards), Jordan Reading (bass), and Leo Gunther (drums). Eric Foster played with the band on their debut CD EP, but he left soon after. Able Cain is also featured on the Mootown label compilation Tastes Like Chicken. ~ John Bush, Rovi
