Formed in London, brewed in New York, and refined in Australia; this is Abroad.
Musician and Producer Will Cruger draws inspiration from love, life, and the world around him, funneling those inspirations into euphoric electronic sounds.
While spending countless hours in the studio, the music of Abroad is the result of meticulously capturing the perfect drum sound, layering atmospheric guitars and carefully dialled synthesisers before perfecting the production and unleashing rich, soaring vocals over the top of this soundscape.
After signing to Th3rd Brain Records in 2022, Abroad wasted no time in releasing the debut album ‘Departure’ to a warm reception from media across the country including Rolling Stone, Triple J, The Music, Music Feeds, and many more. Amassing millions of streams over the album, Abroad toured and played to packed out rooms all across Australia’s East coast.
2023 saw the release of AM, the first part of a two part album AM:PM. The project is building an exciting momentum in the lead up to the release of PM in late 2024. Abroad has supported Boo Seeka at The Corner Hotel, performed at NXNE Festival in Toronto and their first headline show in Montreal, and will soon to be taking the stage at Bloomfield Music & Art Festival on the South Coast of NSW.
