Born in East Los Angeles and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Adicto reaches to his roots and combines his cultures mixing Spanish and English to create a fresh new Latin sound. As a youth, he was heavily influenced by Latin Urban Artists such as Kid Frost, A Lighter Shade of Brown, and Delinquent Habits. He also enjoyed listening to Mexican Artists such as Ramon Ayala, and Saul Viera. As a teenager he started working for the number one Latin Powerhouse label Univision Music where he discovered his love for Latin Hip-Hop and became addicted to creating music. Out of that love, his musical name came about "Adicto".
In April 2004, his single "Oye Mamacita" was included in a hit compilation named Musica Urbana 2 that was distributed nationally by Univision music group. In 2005, Immergent Records included his second single "Dame" which was also distributed nationally. Now his much anticipated album "Sobredosis" was released on 9/15/17. The album includes 16 tracks, 11 of which were produced by Adicto himself, featuring such artists as Tarrence Lee, Rigo Luna, and Cali Dreamz to name a few.
His debut album is expected to create waves in the West Coast Latin Hip-Hop scene.
