Aeon Blank formed in 2011, as a cocktail of alternative rock, gothic, dark wave, classic and progressive rock.
Our first album, “Handmadegods & Godmadedemons”, was released in 2012, and out of the 17 songs it contains, 5 of them got intensively played on local rock radio stations.
In 2014, we released our second album, called „Dark Waters” and we signed with Universal Music Romania. The album performed very well in local charts, with some critics calling it the best alternative rock album of the year.
On 23rd of October 2019, DYSTOPIA, our third studio album, was released. This new album announces big changes in our musical style, incorporating elements of djent, post rock, modern metal, industrial etc.
This new material includes collaborations with other artists such as the soprana Carla Musat, Ana Coman, Mihai Andrei from Breathelast and Liviu Ustinescu from Contraband X.
Dystopia is a concept album, a political one, standing against totalitarianism, political corectness and communism. It’s also our first album to include romanian lyrics on 2 of the 15 songs.
