Memphis, Tennessee native Aerielle Tuggers began her authorial and musical journey as a child, but truly blossomed into the singer and author that she is today after self-publishing her inaugural non-fiction “One Percent”, in 2017. Following that success, in 2018 she began her own publishing company, An Aerielle View Publishing, LLC. AAV is a combination of Aerielle’s passions of mental health, literature and music. Earning her degree in Psychology from Spelman College in 2015, she is using her education and her artistic gift of singing and writing. Her goal, through her company is to promote positive mental health through the application of art: literature and music as therapeutic processes only.
Her project, “An Opened Heart: Love, Life & Blackness”, is Aerielle’s intense expression of her psychological battles released through music and poetry. An Opened Heart will be her second book with the creative twist of having an audiobook that is an actual musical album. This poetry and musical collection is her way of showing the world the uniqueness of psychological therapy through instrumentation and word play. Her creative style as a singing writer is what sets her apart from anyone in the musical and authorial arena.
