ÆSTEREOIDS

ÆSTEREOIDS is an Indie rock band from Bogotá, Colombia. Mixing introspective lyrics with melodic and atmospheric songs, the band delivers big guitar sounds and electrifying backbeats.

Formed in 2016 by Sofía Triviño (Drums) and Santiago Ayala (Guitar), the band completed their line-up with the arrival of Sebastián Fonseca (Guitar) and Sebastián Cárdenas (Bass and vocals) in 2017. From that moment on the group started to find their way into the local scene with their early compositions: Álter Sueño and Sin tiempo.

In February 22th of 2019 they released their first single "Álter sueño".

Followed by their first single, Æstereoids released their second homonymous single the fifth of May of 2019.
After gaining momentum with their first releases and promoting them in more new venues, the band finished the recordings and mixing of their first EP in June 2019. Finally, the fifth of July “Alter Sueño” EP is released.
In early 2020 Camilo Ramirez joins the group as their drummer, since that moment the band has released two singles "Efímero" (2020) and their latest song "Hoy" (2021) which also meant the recording of their first video-clip.
