UK based Christian rapper Akavelli is using gospel music to spread the goodness of God and encourage believers around the world.
In 2020 Akavelli came onto the Gospel Rap scene with his debut EP Jesus With Me. He then quickly got involved in the Gospel Drill scene as a member of Goons4God. With an impressive display within a cypher freestyle alongside other artists such as Konola, Rev J, Oz or O and GS, he cemented himself as one of the authentic representatives of the new Gospel Drill scene.
Since then, he has released several singles crediting slots in the Christian Rap UK and Gospel Drill playlists. Songs such as Faithful and Deliverer are two of his most popular.
In 2021 Akavelli released Who Wants Smoke? featuring Zelijah Tishbite and in 2022 Akavelli featured alongside PrayDaily in a popular new song called Evange, which has a music video produced with Aligned Vision out on YouTube.
Akavelli still has a lot more to come and is definitely one to keep a look out for in the very near future.
