U.K rapper Jo Joey grew up in South London, Thornton Heath to be precise. He grew up with some of the UK's biggest & successful artist today so you can never expect any less from him. His creativity in music stems from his experiences growing up in the area he lived in from gangsterism, losing friends to that lifestyle, helping and uplifting others with his music, to speaking on his Faith and everything else life brings. His first recognition in the music scene was from Jamal Edward’s, who called him forward for a iconic Warm up session in 2016, within the same year Jo Joey opened up the o2 Academy stage Islington for Gospel Artist, A Star. And this was only the beginning.
Jo Joey is diverse and versatile in flow and the style of music he produces, whether vibes or a more conscious approach. But he is well known for his realness, honesty and authenticity when he gets behind the mic.
From a young age Jo Joey began to explore his music talents and ventured out to learn how to play the drums, keys, trumpet and guitar. This heightened his love for music and helped shaped his vision on one day being on the big stages sharing his talent with the world. As multi talented as he is, Jo Joey cannot escape the hunger and desire of pouring out his heart out on a track for the world to hear.
