Alamat -- whose members include Taneo, Mo, Jao, Tomas, R-Ji, Alas -- is a 6-member sing-rap-dance boy group from the Philippines that combines both traditional and modern Filipino cultural elements with Western/global influences in the various facets of their music, including dance, fashion, and iconography.
From the name of their group, to the use of local languages in their lyrics and their heritage-filled aesthetics, Alamat promises to offer to audiences a proudly and uniquely Filipino experience that both entertains and boosts national pride.
Alamat continuously makes waves in the rising PPop scene as they released their debut EP 'Pasulong' which includes their hit tracks like "Maharani" (winner of Awit Award for Best R&B Recording) and "Say U Love Me" in 2022 and their latest 'IsaPuso' LP with fire songs like "Dagundong" and "Day and Night" that definitely allowed them to showcase more of their talents in their recent first-ever 'Dagundong' Solo Concert at the New Frontier Theater.
