Spanish singer Alberto Comesaña decided to become a rock star after realizing his passion for music was stronger than his profession as an agricultural engineer. In 1983, he joined Pedro González, Luis García, Javier Martínez, and Gonzalo Gil in forming Semen Up, making their debut in 1985 with Lo Estas Haciendo Bien. The group disbanded in 1989. After moving to Madrid, Comesaña teamed up with singer Cristina del Valle in a project called Amistades Peligrosas, releasing Retratos de una Intriga in June 1991. The duet announced its breakup in 1998. After signing up to EMI Music Spain as a solo artist, Comesaña recorded a Latin pop album called Perversiones that was released in 2001. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
