Mostly influenced by British pop and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Spanish pop/rock foursome Girasoules was formed in the early '90s by Quique Tarrasó and Fernando Martínez. They were soon joined by guitarist Javier Vela and drummer Ramón Vela. In 1992, the band self-produced a demo called A Tu Lado, followed by Cuestión de Suerte. After signing up to EMI, Girasoules moved to Los Angeles, CA, to make their debut album, Rompe Tu Silencio, produced by KC Porter. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
