Ali Kazemi

Ali Kazemi (1983) is a Tar and Setar player, composer, music educator, and scholar of Persian art music.

Tahrir in Persian Vocal Music, which includes the transcription of 260 tahrirs of Iranian vocalists (2019 - Mahoor Publishing), and the book and CD 60 Chahârmezarâb For Tar (Tehran 2016 - Mahoor Publishing). This work also won the Best Music Book of the Year award at the fifth edition of the biennial festival in Iran.
