Alien She are an independent band from Dublin, Ireland. They have a keen interest in multi-disciplinary art, making their live performances something of a spectacle. Their debut album 'Feeler' is out on Art for Blind Records. Playing songs that have been described as expressive, shoegaze, experimental, and agitated art punk - Alien She pride themselves on their unique genre-defying sound. The Thin Air has described the trio as “a mixture of raw and relentless energy which manifests itself in a number of different manners…their constant progression and experimentation prevent the group from reproducing same-sounding tracks, keeping their sound fresh.”
The Best of Music and film called the release “like an out of control rocket” and The Last Mixed Tape gave the album a 9/10. The Thin Air named Alien She's 'Feeler' as one of their top releases of 2017.
Alien She have played bills with acts such as Priests, Pussy Riot, Screaming Females, Polica, Teleman, Bitch Falcon, Girlfriend, the Murder Capital, and the Altered Hours. In 2018 they played K fest and Swell Fest and released standalone track "Shield" as part of A Litany of Failure Part Two Complication, described by Hot Press Magazine as "a powerful and magnetic 9 minutes of music that sees the band gleefully push the parameters of their art punk sound. Featuring spoken word performances and field recordings...jagged and jaw-dropping in equal measure."
The band's current focus on is on writing new material.
