Described as "ottimo tenore" by stage director Giancarlo del Monaco - son of legendary Mario del Monaco - Alin Stoica has been successfully building up his "lirico spinto" tenor repertoire.
Alin is one of the most renowned artists hailing from Romania. His roles include Alfredo (La Traviata), Don José (Carmen) or Turiddu (Cavalleria Rusticana). This 2019/20 seasons' highlight for him will be his debut at the Gärtnerplatztheater München as Cavaradossi. The tenor performed on stage with artists like Plácido Domingo or Angela Gheorghiu.

Described as „ottimo tenore“ by stage director Giancarlo del Monaco – son of legendary Mario del Monaco –, Alin Stoica has been successfully building his international career in the „lirico spinto“ repertoire during the last years.
He is also a concert singer in great demand and appears regularly in Romanian TV.
Alin Stoica was born in Bucharest, where he studied singing and graduated at the Conservatory. He participated in several competitions and won the Grand Prix of the Paul-Constantinescu-Competition as well as the Special Award of the Romanian Broadcast at the International Competition Grand Prix de l’Opéra. At the Sarzana Competition he won the Luciano Pavarotti Prize, which made Nicoletta Mantovani invite him to sing at the Pavarotti Memorial Concert in the Arena di Verona alongside stars like Placido Domingo, José Carreras and Angela Gheorghiu in September 2017.
