ALIZIA

Maria Alexandra Castro aka '' ALIZIA '' is a Latin R&B and urban singer, topliner, producer and originally raised in Ecuador and born in the heart of L.A's latin and black communities.

Growing up between Los Angeles and Ecuador she fell in love with the sound of Motown listening to the great Smokey Robinson, Temptations, the Marvelletes,etc but, it was David Ruffin's voice that made her know that she would be committed to music for life.

Inspired by the 90's R&B and hip hop marriage and maintaining true to her Ecuadorian roots she fell in love with Ecuadorian Pasillo at young age which began her inmersion in Latin music learning about music from the Cuban and Puerto Rican caribbean as salsa and ultimately being influenced by the sound of the reggaeton greats such as Don Omar, Arcangel, Tego Calderon, Wisin y Yandel, Jowell y Randy, Ivy Queen, y DJ playero. During her highschool years she began as a background singer for small Guayaquil bands in her hometown of Ecuador continuing to sing in bands through her college years.Her first single was released with fellow Ecuadorian artist Ren Kai with the song '' En la Nada'' .

During 2023 she is releasing the project '' EL VIAJE : CAMINO AL ALLABAO'' which recounts becoming an adult through the eyes of the artist.
