🎹📓Hi, I'm Alkis - thanks for stopping by. I'm releasing a few Piano Journal EPs this year via the wonderful label Blue Marble. Here's some more info about me:
"Alkis Livathinos is a Greek composer and producer whose work gracefully weaves together piano-led composition, contemporary sound design, and electronic textures. From intimate solo improvisations to cinematic scores and music for immersive media, his work balances emotional openness with detailed craftsmanship.
His Piano Journal series, released through Blue Marble, captures this ethos in its purest form. Volume 2 (out 5 June 2025) was recorded in Greece during a single, unedited session in the spring of 2022, using a minimal setup with no post-editing, reflecting Alkis’ approach to piano writing. “Improvisation feels like a space where self-doubt quiets down,” he says. “I try to allow the music to form without forcing it into shape.”
His path has been refreshingly diverse - he scored the indie game Hue (nearly 30 original cues), and has composed music for brands like Louis Vuitton, Free People, and Fendi.
His recent collaborative EP with composer/photographer <a href="spotify:artist:6fsUe68biDsnK9f8G41rNO" data-name="Alex Kozobolis">Alex Kozobolis</a> entered the Apple Music classical charts and was featured on their Chill Piano playlist. At the same time, his soundtrack for I Didn’t Get The Memo was featured on Spotify’s New Classical Releases. Under his alias <a href="spotify:artist:0irfc5RmuSG3wGYtVOXdJi" data-name="Aonian">Aonian</a> , he’s also remixed artists like <a href="spotify:artist:0WSSKmoRbxqLf3MnXInQ2J" data-name="Max Cooper">Max Cooper</a>" - Blue Marble, April 2025
