Allerseelen (Austria): Electronic Folklore / Industrial Folklore. The Austrian group Allerseelen have been active and innovative in the post-industrial and apocalyptic folk genre for many years. Their CDs and double-LP editions have been issued on the labels Aorta, Ahnstern and :indiestate:. Allerseelen is a unique combination of industrial and folklore elements, and "Electronic Folklore" might be an appropriate expression to embrace these seemingly contradictory qualities. The dynamic stage presence of drummer Christien H. and bassist Marcel P. and the vocalists AimA and Gerhard Hallstatt all contribute toward a unique mood of "Electronic Folklore" for these live performances. The most recent releases of Allerseelen were the CDs Chairete Daimones and Morgenröte.
