Alper Antmen started learning the guitar on his own with different methods in 1993.
Between 1996 and 1998, he worked as a musician and a light technician for the two plays, Masal and Yeşil Dünya, directed by Çetin Etili at Kartal Art Theather.
Between 1998 and 1999, he got his classical guitar education from Onok Bozkurt at Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

In 2002, he started studying Auditory Arts Design Program, in the Department of Music and Performing Arts in Yıldız Technical University. He graduated in 2007. During his studies, he participated in ERATO Project by various universities and European Union, where he played ancient Greek music and instruments both as a composer and a musician.

In 2004, he started the band, Cin Düğünü with Murat Ulutaş and played the guitar until he started Kırkbinsinek with Özgür Devrim Akçay, Tolga Öztürk and Tuncay Korkmaz in 2008. He recorded two albums with Kirkbinsinek. He recorded two albums with Kırkbinsinek, "Sis Pus Sus" and "Toprak Ana", also he made music with Kırkbinsinek for a documentary, "Kaza Değil Cinayet".

Between the years 2006 and 2017, he worked as a sound engineer in Peyote.
He worked as the sound engineer for the play, Gelin Tanış Olalım by Donkişot Theatre and Organization between 2017 and 2019.

Recently, he has been teaching private guitar lessons and performing at concerts and events with Kırkbinsinek.
