Alto Aria is the moniker of singer and composer Aria Leth Schütze. They investigate relations between acoustic and electronic sounds with the point of departure of transformation. A weaving of classical elements and modern electronic beats bound together by an aerial vocal. They founded the Copenhagen-based label Rhizome which centers on experimental music and alternative release formats. Alto Aria has shared the stage with Meuko Meuko, Mabe Fratti, and Okkyung Lee, and made mixes for NTS, Refuge Worldwide, and Retreat Radio.
