Ama Gaisie is a multi-disciplinary, multicultural artist whose music closely reflects her upbringing. London born and Cape Town raised, she experienced growing up between two drastically different cultures, drawing her earliest inspirations from her parents’ CD collection and eclectic taste. Her influences range from the jazzy sounds of Amy Winehouse and Aretha Franklin to the indie pop sounds of Steve Lacy and Alice Phoebe Lou.
