Amarcord is an Italian DJ and producer whose music blends the nostalgic essence of the 80s and 90s, from new wave and italo-disco to electro and trance, reimagined through the lens of contemporary electronic and dance music
his productions have garnered recognition and support from some of the most influential figures in the underground club scene, including iconic legends like the late andrew weatherall and laurent garnier (who signed his track ‘poliritmo’ on his label), as well as stars of the new generation such as avalon emerson and haai.
with a growing reputation, amarcord has had the privilege of performing both live and dj sets at renowned venues across europe, the u.s. and beyond. he played also on all the main radio hosts in the electronic scene, from rinse fm to the lot radio, radio raheem and more and his music aired both on bbc and rai radio 3 in italy.
in the past 10 years he has released well-received ep’s, singles and remixes on notable labels such as dischi autunno, ritmo fatale, ombra international, permanent vacation, and more.
amarcord is also the curator of the ‘nottetempo’ events, previously held at italy’s meet compact club, in which he welcomed a variety of artists.
in 2024, he also launched the ‘nottetempo series,’ a self-release project in which he shares his original material and selected collaborations.
an in-demand remixer, in 2025 he was signed to la-based bordel records to remix the song ‘On The Edge’ by infamous band Scratch Massive.
