For as long as she can remember, Annegret Fiedler has crafted electronic melodies to soundtrack her daydreams. Inspired by New Wave and Post-Punk, she became Perel - a producer, vocalist, and DJ known for her genre-blending sound and captivating presence.
Perel was the first German artist signed to James Murphy’s DFA Records, and has since performed globally, from packed techno clubs to major festivals. Raised in Saxony, she learned to write and produce music inspired by Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, and The Cure. After moving to Berlin, she immersed herself in the underground club scene, releasing solo work on labels like Running Back, Uncanny Valley, Kompakt, and Permanent Vacation.
In a constantly shifting electronic landscape, Perel carved a unique lane: singing live over her DJ sets to fuse her performance energy with her selections.
Highlights include Outside Lands (San Francisco), her sold-out show at House of Zenner (Berlin), Sonar Barcelona & Lisbon, Panorama Bar / Berghain, Fusion Festival, and support for The Chemical Brothers.
Now based in both Los Angeles and Berlin, Perel returns in 2025 with new music, continuing to evolve her timeless Neosynth sound, made for when the sun sets and the freaks come out to play.
