Amay Lakhmani, preferring to go by his stage moniker ‘AMAY’ is a modern singer-songwriter/Producer from Kolkata. Described as ‘Soft’, ‘Confused’ and ‘Lost’ by those around him. AMAY describes his sound as ‘rustic with a little polish’ as he looks to blend classic sound quality of analog music and modern polish seamlessly through his caffeine driven pop punk sound combined with an emo aesthetic. Pulling from influential artists spanning across 6 decades, AMAY looks primed to bring his emotionally driven form of pop music to the masses.

The multi-instrumentalist who is also no stranger to a DJ console has been performing on stages since 2016. Around AMAY’s early SoundCloud days, he was introduced to the world of ‘studio recordings' and ‘music production’ spending his college years polishing his skills at the Point Blank Music School located in London, UK.
AMAY grew up as part of the first generation of truly ‘global citizens’, participating in the world from a very young age. With front row seats to what was the most dynamic era in terms of sound for the music industry, AMAY’s eclectic taste in music led him to quickly learn to bend genres to suit his needs, borrowing elements from Trap, Rock, Pop and Dance music, building each song as a story of its own.
