Some artists reinvent themselves, but AMERY has spent the last few years uncovering the self he no longer needed to hide.

Born to Rwandan parents and raised in a strict religious household, the Belgian singer learned early on that the world loved labels. Labels for faith, for love, for masculinity. But AMERY never fit the mold. Where others saw strength in silence, he found power in feeling. Music became his sanctuary, a place where he didn’t have to shrink himself to belong.

In 2017, he stepped into the spotlight with So Good and I Need Lovin', catching the attention of Sir Elton John and earning support from the media across Europe, the US and beyond. But while his career soared, something inside him burned out. The industry had opened its doors to him, but his own world, the one he had known for so long, was crumbling like sand slipping through his fingers. So he left. And embarked on a pilgrimage to rediscover himself.

Returning home, he embraced the parts of himself he once tried to suppress: his queerness, his autism, his introversion. And he poured it all back into the music. Now, he is building the safe haven he always yearned for, not just for himself, but for anyone who has ever felt like they didn’t quite fit in, encouraging them to celebrate their difference. No more boxes. No more boundaries. Shedding his past like old skin, AMERY steps into his most authentic era yet: raw, unfiltered and unapologetically himself.
