Amie Huckstep

Amie Huckstep is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her music is heavily influenced by acoustic pop and folk and her style has been described as ethereal and melodic.
She began writing music at 16 and has since developed her love for storytelling. Using plucky guitar rhythms, dreamy vocal harmonies, her goal is to draw you into her world and make you feel at home. Her solo live performance is enhanced by her use of looped tracks and alto sax; filling the stage with endless layered harmony and soaring sax melodies.
In 2019, Amie started playing the bar and restaurant scene in Edinburgh after getting involved with the open mic community. She has since moved to Glasgow and found a love for the thriving music scene there; playing at the likes of Broadcast, The Hug and Pint and Bloc+. She has also had the chance to support some fantastic musicians, such as, Alex The Astronaut, Alabaster Deplume and Janet Devlin.
Since releasing her debut single in May 2020, Amie has gone on to hit over 1,000,000 streams on her combined discography. She now has two EP’s and 3 singles under her belt and is set to release new music at the start of 2023.
Amie’s music has since been played on the likes of BBC Introducing, BBC Alba and Pulse 98.4, as well as stations across the globe.
