Time Waves is kind of a virtual band put together by composer / producer Alan Whittaker with international guest vocalists and musicians. With an eclectic palette of influences including Crowded House, Coldplay, Elbow, Genesis and Kate Bush; Time Waves music is a blend of pop/rock and cinematic arrangements with a pinch pf progressive rock. 'A US producer heard the demo of ‘Shooting Stars’ featuring KD’s vocal and suggested a band name for the single release. As we had that 80’s retro sound he suggested the idea of ‘Time Waves’ (he thought KD sounded a bit Geddy Lee from RUSH...so we mashed-up two of their album titles Time Machine and Permanent Waves.) ....Shooting Stars has been well received with BBC Radio airplay and over 100k streams.’
