amilost are a Scottish/Norwegian alt-pop duo born in London. Welcome into their home of Scandinavian pop with a touch of cinematic grandeur!
After launching with their debut ‘Pillowside’ in 2023, released on Norwegian indie MADE Records, the band received a warm reception in the Nordics with mainstream radio playlisting, press and Spotify editorials. This led to an invite to perform at Norway’s biggest industry showcase festival, by:Larm in 2024.
UK shows coincided with supports at Islington Assembly Hall and Omeara, London. The band were also invited to perform multiple live sessions for BBC Introducing.
Moving into 2024, the band signed to Stockholm-based tastemaker label, Icons Creating Evil Art. Their debut single 'Bloom' dropped in May ’24, showcasing the band’s new sonic direction, receiving strong write ups from Earmilk and Metal Magazine alongside a BBC Introducing 'Track of the Week'.
‘Tiny War’ & ‘Haunted’ dropped late 2024 alongside a Eurosonic 2025 announcement, with TikTok fans adopting Tiny War, viewing it over 20 million times.
Though amilost’s songs come from a personal place, they seem to capture something more universal in the human psyche. Pain and loneliness may be the starting point but intense and often ecstatic music is the outcome.
Their sophomore EP 'Chapters of a Heartbreak' released May 7th with Earmilk labelling it: "A Dazzling Dissection of Love's Aftermath".
