Amplify Sound is a collective of musicians and leaders out of Amplify Church in Pittsburgh PA.
AW released their freshman album in 2017 “Maranatha” which featured songs such as “Worth It All, Energy, & More Than Halfway”.
Gaining momentum in 2018, the team released their sophomore album “VOLUME 1.” Feat. the diverse urban/pop single “Feel So Alive” which caught the attention of A&R Representative, Sam Collier. (Pureflix/A Greater Story) In March of 2019, the team signed to Mytrell Records in Atlanta GA, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. Amplify Worship strives to make clear the message of the gospel all while pushing the boundaries of “Christian” music. The team believes in creating a sound that resonates with the next generation, leaning very heavily in to more of a hip-hop/urban-pop vibe rather than the reverb soaked rock, early 2000’s “worship music”. Though, there will always be a place for that style, AW believes creativity and innovation are at the forefront of reaching the next generation.
The group’s 3rd full-length will feature a variety of music ranging from worship, to hip-hop, and everything in between. If there’s one thing for certain, it’s that Amplify Worship is no one trick pony.
