Ana Abrahamson is the solo project from Leuven based multi-instrumentalists Analena Vater (Görlitz, Germany). Her music is highly influenced by artists like Melody Gardot, Jordan Rakei and Radiohead amongst many others. In that way she combines elements of jazz, soul and rock.
Analena Vater studied electrical engineering in Germany with a greater interest in acoustics. In the same time she founded the all female band “brendan” with Elisa Noll, Yvonne Medeke, and Annelie Weißel. Together they produced an EP with four original songs and played some concerts with her playing the guitar. Since moving to Belgium in 2021 she teaches herself in music production and founded the band “Tahini Tuesday” with Fernando Jorge in which she sings and plays the bass.
As Ana Abrahamson she is now composing and producing original songs on her own as part of her solo project as well as in cooperation with friends, aiming to produce several songs as well as a first EP being released in 2023.
