Who is brendan? Brendan are four young women based in Dresden, Germany, with a shared passion for music. This results in a unique sound, ranging from dreamy to fierce. Even though their music is audibly influenced by many different genres and hard to pin down, the mixture of strong, soulful vocals, solid basslines, groovy drums and a distorted guitar is probably best described as Indie and Alternative. Following the release of their debut EP “Best Of” they are currently working on releasing a first full album.
Brendan started when Elisa Noll (vocals), Analena Vater (guitar) and Yvonne Medeke (drums) met and bonded through their shared passion for music.
The trio recorded four songs in early 2020, all of which can be found on their EP “Best Of”
During live shows, including, among others, charity events and a livestream concert in the local scene club “Groovestation'', as well as in the studio, it has become evident that the trio needed some additional support on the strings. Thus, Annelie Weißel joined the band on the bass in 2020.
In November 2020, the band released their first music video for the song “Leave Me Hanging” which is also featured on their recent EP.
