Anders Dahlberg released his debut album <a href="spotify:album:0mDHePlhPFjvp6L1A3RftA" data-name="Dancing With Stars">Dancing With Stars</a> in 2016, and instantly got compared to <a href="spotify:artist:3eqjTLE0HfPfh78zjh6TqT" data-name="Bruce Springsteen">Bruce Springsteen</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2qc41rNTtdLK0tV3mJn2Pm" data-name="Ryan Adams">Ryan Adams</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2UZMlIwnkgAEDBsw1Rejkn" data-name="Tom Petty">Tom Petty</a>. The album was featured in several Best of 2016-lists and it peaked with a performance on Norwegian national TV, NRK. Constantly writing and producing, Dahlberg began working on new material only a few weeks after the release of his debut. In only 24 hours he experienced a break-up, lost his apartment, and fell into an existential crisis. The result was <a href="spotify:album:3AJr5iL69pBmNIr94gg61N" data-name="Street Serenade">Street Serenade</a>. Produced by long time friend Daragh Wearen Murphy (<a href="spotify:artist:7k8TraWfee4oIWWBhNFp2Y" data-name="Company Ink">Company Ink</a>) they managed to create a minimalistic soundscape which brings Dahlberg's songs and lyrics even closer to the listener.
