Ever since his humble beginnings in 2008, André Laos, the producer behind Oktoberklubben and
DNKL, has never settled in a specific musical environment.
The Swedish West Coast Native has toured the globe with everything
from techno, ambient, disco and house.
After his first release “The rework of Mood 2 Swings - Closer”
he got signed by the NYC label ‘Let’s Play House’ where he put out his “Nordic Delight EP”.
André has released his music on a range of different labels over the years, such as
‘Monologues’ and ‘The Sunday Best/Silver Bear Recordings’ just to mention a few.
Often seen behind the decks, Laos spends most of his time in the studio in Gothenburg, where
he both seduces and inspires with his eclectic blend of music styles.
With “Höjd”, Laos once again returns to melancholy ambience.
