Andrew Finn Magill

<a href="spotify:artist:4HaU3dFoJU4SRH01OClXep" data-name="Andrew Finn Magill">Andrew Finn Magill</a> is a multi-genre fiddler/violinist, composer, and Ropeadope Recording artist that has been featured on NPR, MTV-U, and Avianca in-flight entertainment. He received a Fulbright Fellowship in 2009 which he used to produce &quot;Mau a Malawi: Stories of AIDS&quot; with <a href="spotify:artist:46bS0fMGhraXbKHMcvcC7L" data-name="Peter Mawanga and the Amaravi Movement">Peter Mawanga and the Amaravi Movement</a> and in 2019 was awarded a North Carolina Arts Council grant for jazz composition.

He tours regularly with <a href="spotify:artist:4e86YQoEY12KIbKpEXe0gu" data-name="Dave Curley">Dave Curley</a>, Alan Murray (<a href="spotify:artist:7MR8iIZ5ojwgx6M8BWPEqE" data-name="Colin Farrell">Colin Farrell</a> Band), Canta, Violino!, <a href="spotify:album:3h0EVm78VN5l43QtR18sZS" data-name="Brazilian Strings Trio">Brazilian Strings Trio</a>, and as a guest musician with dozens of others.

In 2014 Finn moved to Rio de Janeiro to study Brazilian choro music and has gone on to co-found <a href="spotify:album:3h0EVm78VN5l43QtR18sZS" data-name="Brazilian Strings Trio">Brazilian Strings Trio</a> with American violinist <a href="spotify:artist:6FRY9OnfBkg8PdEQ28KVnO" data-name="Ted Falcon">Ted Falcon</a> and Brazilian guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:5WBNskRSR1N8SDZ9IqFIjX" data-name="Nando Duarte">Nando Duarte</a> as well as Canta, Violino! a Brazilian jazz fusion project released on Ropeadope Records in 2018.
