Anesthetic Youth is a band formed in 2017 in the busy city of HCMC, Vietnam. They started as a Metal/Hardcore band but, after several changes in the lineup and adding Giang as the vocalist, they adventure themselves into a more experimental musical path.
“At the beginning of February 2019, Anesthetic Youth released their debut EP "DY STO PI A". The five songs contained on it are enhanced by the voice of singer Giang and a really strong guitar playing, with which there is always something special to hear.
In general, you don't hear the music of Anesthetic Youth, from a band coming from Vietnam. The melodies all sound very “western” and are therefore certainly easier to market. The consistently English lyrics should do their part. Personally, I would treat the quartet if the doors were open to them worldwide.
Anesthetic Youth are currently working on their debut album, which will be released at the beginning of 2022. If the band keeps the musical style of their EP and keeps developing the sound, I am sure that they will also find open ears outside of Vietnam.”
