Composer of modern classical music for piano and other instruments.
Angelika was born in Munich, grew up and lives in Vienna. She began playing the piano at age 8, took lessons at the Music School D’Orsaygasse and the Blüthner Music School with teacher Thilo Plaesser in Vienna. She studied Translation Studies (Spanish, French) and attended lectures on music theory (musicology) at the University of Vienna.
Her first compositions were inspired by minimal music and created in search of music that would accompany the translation of one language into another and support the melody of speech. This was followed by other compositions, intended as accompaniment to songs, theater, ballet ... and independent performance pieces.
