Anjali Manoharan

Anjali Manoharan is a Chennai-based singer-songwriter originally from Bangalore. A passionate independent artist, vocalist, and music educator, Anjali is on a journey to discover her unique sound by blending various genres and influences. With a deep love for experimentation, her music spans from smooth R&B and intricate jazz to experimental alternative sounds.

Inspired by artists like Sade, Lianne La Havas, Tom Misch, Yebba Smith, and bands like Hiatus Kaiyote and Moonchild, Anjali's sound reflects her diverse musical tastes. Her debut single, Nothing Ever Lasts Long (released in October 2024), explores themes of loss and cherishing memories, capturing the bittersweet nature of friendships and change.

Anjali has shared the stage with notable acts like Junkyard Groove and performed at events such as Indie Grrrl, Little Sounds, and La Nuit Blanche at Alliance Française and Goethe Institute. With a blend of musicality and storytelling, Anjali continues to evolve as an artist, connecting with listeners through her unique voice and emotive music.
