Hailing from Leicester, England -- and not Ann Arbor, MI -- Ann Arbor is a noisy indie rock/punk-influenced trio that counts drummer Glenn, guitarist Tim, and a bassist as its personnel. The roots of Ann Arbor are in several defunct bands, including Fox Force Five, Manrae, Crossfire, and most significantly Half Seas Over. Ann Arbor took full formation in the late '90s, after Half Seas Over broke up. They suffered a blow early on when Glenn injured his back, but the band continued to play out frequently with a drum machine in his place. Since becoming a live entity, the band has shared the stage with the likes of Burning Airlines, Feverdream, and the All Scars. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
