Christian singer/songwriter Ann Laurene has followed an unorthodox path into music ministry. It was during her high school years, after persistent invitations and encouragement from friends, Ann expressed a desire to go to church with them and started to attend regularly. After about 6 months, through an emotional experience, Ann gave her life to Christ - and her life hasn't been the same since. No longer was God just "religion" or "routine", but now she had a living, personal relationship with her Savior. God began to do many works in Ann's life, one of which was directing her to a path in music ministry. As Ann describes - "I never even wanted to be part of music ministry ~ which is cool, because God did all the work and I was along for the ride." Ann discovered that, in addition to piano, guitar & voice, she also had a talent for songwriting, and in 2005 she recorded her first solo CD, entitled More Like You, which is also the title of the very first song that Ann ever composed. She describes the song as a prayer of how one longs to be closer to the One who created us, and her goal with the CD is to bring Truth to the listener and to encourage them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus.
