Anna Puu is a Finnish pop singer who rose to fame on the television reality show Idols in 2008 before embarking on a chart-topping solo recording career the following year. Born Anna Puustjärvi on February 3, 1982, in Outokumpu, Finland, she appeared on the 2008 season of Idols, a Pop Idol-style show specific to Finland, and finished in second place behind first-place winner <a href="spotify:artist:0o3nSvAzubeQu5hVOQyD6a" data-name="Koop Arponen">Koop Arponen</a>. Shortening her name from Anna Puustjärvi to Anna Puu, she made her commercial debut in 2009 with the Top Five hit single "C'est la Vie."
